When I started, it was pretty overwhelming with the new tools & frameworks. All it took to “Be confident”- to be fit in the team. If your company has co-ops or interns, they are well aware of the challenges. So, take first couple of days to be onboarded. Ask questions, make sure YOU are prompt for your success & your team doesn’t need to push you to do certain things. Make a priority list what needs to be learnt faster than the others & happy learning!

I usually divide my task in three timelines- Research phase (that takes me most of the time), development phase & QA phase (personal testing before it goes to the QA team officially). Try to find company’s similar approach for your task. If you are unsure, ask for a lead on the task rather than assume. Focus on your thought process & brainstorming. Game up your google search. There are differences between asking questions and asking for the direct approach of the task. Make sure you do & learn for yourself.
