Information Architecture and Experiences are synonymous. And will become increasingly so in the advent of ever more advance AI and the fluidity of information exchanges and how these are experience and acted on. A fusion of these skills is vital. In the past I've either made practitioners have both skills, but likely naturally work on one and collaborate on the other, such is the need to have at least a strong appreciation of the blended benefits of both. When it comes to visual design on top of this I call this the collision process. Design typically want to break the human condition and make it better, experience and IA lead practitioners either know how best to make this possible or how to work through things that aren't.
