I don't see this as materially different from a permanent role, except you potentially have less time to prove yourself. Rather than trying to meet as many senior stakeholders as possible, be focused. What are the company's goals? What is important to each stakeholder? Only then think about where you can add value - and then add value. Be focused, concise, respectful. And ideally, break up tasks into smaller ones, so that you can show ongoing delivery to your senior stakeholders.

As mentioned above, rather than having one big delivery, try and break it up into smaller tasks. Engage with senior stakeholders and others on a regular basis around this. Not only does it mean you are more likely to deliver what is needed, but you'll also get their feedback on what else is happening in the company that may be relevant to you.
