My point of view here is more oriented to let them know how I helped the company and why is justified my raise, also be pretty much aligned with company policies for example some companies have no more that 30% raise anually so trying to ask for more will be not possible and also with those times for my company for example if reviews will be in July try not to get that on December, is a little hard but a negotiation in the right time with a possible value will bring you better results.
