My first experience with Game Design came when I was hired as an Animator at a gaming company. Within this company, I always had good opinions and solutions for any problem that arose. I've always studied a lot about animation, illustration, 3D, web development, Game Dev, entrepreneurship, finance and more. Because I studied everything and didn't focus on one area, it took me a while to be hired as a specialist. But in this company, I found myself as a Game Designer and realized that the transition to this area is smoother, as a game designer makes good use of any position or previous experience. So, your previous career is not a problem, but a complement to this new journey. Enjoy it well.

Failure is inevitable in game development. As a User Acquisition and Monetization Specialist, I've seen many campaigns and strategies fall short. While managing/ designing tons of games, I've seen lots of ideas to not work as intended. But failure is also an opportunity to learn and grow. Analyze what went wrong, make adjustments, and try again. Celebrate your team's resilience and willingness to take risks.

??There are a couple points I always come back to when imposter syndrome hits me: 1?? Giving into imposter syndrome is a self fulfilling prophecy. ??If I don't think I'm good enough: I won't make a game, if I don't make a game: I won't improve, if I don't improve: then I won't be good enough. ???You'll learn more by getting something out rather than by planning it forever. ??Then you can iterate on the next game. 2?? Let's assume everyone is better than me and imposter syndrome is correct. ??Good. ??Then I can learn a ton from my peers and get even better at making games. ???Basically it boils down to there's a voice in your head that's lying to you. ??All you have to do is maintain a growth mindset and tell it to piss off.
