In order to navigate criticism and maintain confidence in my startup career, I approach criticism as an opportunity to learn. I objectively assess feedback in order to improve. I keep a growth mindset, and seek support from mentors and peers, using their insights to strengthen my approach. I stay motivated and grounded in my vision by celebrating small wins and milestones. Additionally, practicing self-care and stress management helps me prevent criticism from becoming overwhelming. By focusing on continual improvement and resilience, I can effectively handle criticism and remain confident in my startup journey.

Important lessons extracted from my startup experience. Constructive criticism is rare and good advice is rarer. Great ideas are a dime a dozen. Money from angels, the double D's + triple Fs (Drs, dentists, friends, fools and family), often brings proof of concept and a short and direct slidedeck. Your pitch will always inform your audience on the subject your team may be the world's expert on. It even may even distract a VC from his cell phone for a second or two. However, it's still an old boys' game. Don't expect VC backing if someone on your team can't answer yes to both of these questions: Do you know anyone (important) that I know? Have you made any money for anyone that I know? Be prepared and network for success. Good luck.

I am very happy to say that my career started in a startup because in a startup we can learn, adapt much and get more opportunities to prove ourselves. The workload will be a bit high, but simultaneously you can gain much knowledge as well its a win-win situation. We can know the subject in 360 degrees and be able to share with the team as well. As a small team there won't be politics. Pursuing goals can be done here. We can be able to find trusted mentors or peers. We can grow much in a short period. Yes I do agree there might be criticism but if we are capable and confident we can succeed anywhere. Take your criticisms and turn them into opportunities for career advancement.

Vision can be hard for start ups as usually you need to make money. Offcourse, you need to stay focused in your entire journey. A person who has a clear vision has a clear path as well. Practice and Discipline are two major factors to stay on your vision. Taking the feedback in the right manner and use it wise for your purpose. There will be instances when everyone will leave you, stay focused and firm and you will get like minded people who will believe the vision you have.

Turn inward. One way to build resilience is to block out all the external world, sit quietly and turn inward for few minutes every day. This helps us stay close to who we are and what we truly need and want irrespective of what the world may be telling us.

Sometimes we just need a good night of sleep to put thoughts in the right place. It won't be the end of the world, things will get solved because you'll find a solution. Stay true to yourself and believe, because the only problem no one can solve is death.

When founding a startup, especially if you are a first-time founder like me, for a while, we really don't have any idea how much ground we have to cover in so many fields: product, marketing, sales, finance, pitching, partnerships, and many more. In the beginning, when you start realizing that you have to know a bit (much) about all these topics, everything gets very overwhelming for you to understand. Not too long ago rejections from investors and sales felt incredibly personal for me. Every "no" stung and seemed like a direct criticism. It really messed with my confidence. What helped me was realizing that rejection is just part of the game. Most investors get thousands of pitch decks each year but only write a few checks, so they have to say "no" 99% of the time. It's almost never personal. The same goes for sales; the default answer is often "no". Accepting this helped me handle rejection better. Remember, a "no" doesn't reflect your worth. Stay confident and keep pushing forward.
