My biggest advice: Don't be afraid to play around! Explore all the buttons and try new things. Mistakes are okay! Computers make it super easy to fix things.

With everything going digital, reading and writing are two such skills that have been affected widely. For both readers and writers, adapting to the digital world has brought many changes. The switch to writing on screens with scannable content has brought new challenges. People now have a short span of attention, which forces you to answer their queries quickly. While you might be tempted to write long-form content like blogs and articles, ensuring that the reader is hooked throughout depends on the structuring of your content piece. Include headers, sub-headers, bullet points, statements, highlighted content, etc., to make the content easy to skim. Follow an inverted writing style to give a list of your content in the introduction itself.

One thing I have come to learn is digital writing should be precise. Most people dont enjoy reading. Therefore as a writer, write scannable content, use bullets, short paragraphs and dont use lengthy texts to communicate nothing. There is so much written content and you have to come up with a unique write up.

Your body will be the reminder - listen to it. If your eyes are strained or you're finding yourself listless with the current task at hand, it's a nudge to step away. Find the sun. Hydrate. Move your body. Listen to music. Or do something completely unrelated for a short amount of time. Finding balance used to be difficult and tedious for me, until I prioritized wellness over over-saturated and forced productivity. Your body will drop the hints. Pay attention!
