One important thing in the robotics project is that it always has multiple stages. It's not a one stage task. Every stage has a set goal and achievements. My point of view slightly disagrees from the above opinion of looking at a bigger picture because it sometimes demotivates the team in terms of not accomplishing anything in the initial stages of the robotics project. I believe in celebrating and recognising the success of each stage of the project and giving reassurance to the team that we are going to achieve the end result.

Its clearly important to Articulate a clear vision and mission for the team. When team members understand how their work contributes to a larger goal, they are more motivated.

En el día a día no sólo te enfrentas a retos individuales en tus proyectos, la realidad laboral es que tus retos se convierten en grupales, todas las piezas deben funcionar correctamente para que el sistema avance; la inteligencia emocional es un área de la que mucho que habla pero poco se cuida, si las personas con las que trabajas se sienten incluidas por más peque?a que parezca su voz o más simple parezca su opinión , serán fieles colaboradores para el bien común, no hay malos empleados, ni personas de pocos aportes, hay líderes vagos y muchas veces incapaces de poder extraer lo mejor de cada uno de sus colaboradores.

Como ingenieros solemos enfocarnos en "lo que hay que arreglar". Es un enfoque excelente para las cosas. Con las personas no funciona así. Con las personas necesitamos marcar el espacio de mejora a la vez de generar las ganas de mejorar y la motivación para hacerlo. Esto no se hace se?alando directamente el error, sino con una fórmula que yo le llamo "Fórmula Hamburguesa": Pan: halago, felicitación por algo que se hace muy bien Carne: espacio de mejora, por qué se puede mejorar, cómo mejorarlo, instrucciones, guía, etc. Pan: otro halago + "estoy seguro que esto (carne) podrás resolverlo como lo has hecho con los demás desafíos" Es la fórmula infalible para dar feedback de mejora. Nadie se niega ante esta fórmula.

be careful of sliding into a routine of overlapping project starts and ends - crossing between projects without celebrating\acknowladging the achievements of the previous one causes deterioration in the motivation and sense of progress of individuals in the team.

Celebrating is always important, but in all project's achievement we learn something. It is important we collect all lessons learned in order to the next project we are better than before.

You could have a team of geniuses but it will never be able to achieve anything if they cannot effectively communicate with each other.
