Active learning is a core skill you should have as a programmer, don't stop learning, even the tools or languages you know can have patch updates or changes to them, so you should never stop learning. Dedicate time to go over the tools you already know once in a while, and continue to push and learn about new tools and technologies so you are not left behind in any trend or changes.

Learning regularly is important aspect to have a longer technical career. Some basic aspects: 1. Stay true to yourself in rating your technical abilities & plan accordingly to seek courses for the required push. 2. Set smaller targets & don’t overboard with completing any module hastily. 3. Learn everyday and find a way to apply to it. Application is important, else you may forget the tool or skill you are learning about. 4. Get certifications (if available), they give you the validation needed for hard work you have put in to learn anything. 5. Try to learn different technologies, framework as well to appreciate the difference.
