Change Implimentation is an important process. Before change we should have a change management plan where we should define what is changing and how we are going to make change, who all are stakeholders and what is the impact of it. For this we can develop a communication plan and train the people. If any project management tool exists, we can manage our "Request for Change" (RFC) ticket in that tool and update wherever required. This ticketing management tool gives better insights throughout change implementations. Once changes are Implemented, we can close the ticket.

Set a goal for your expected results after implementing actions. Then start monitoring on a regular basis. Set a threshold for the next action(s) and define the actions as plan B-C... Always aim for continuous improvement and be 1 step ahead of your current status.

Forecasting tools such as "glidepath" charts help teams to: a.) communicate expectations and b.) assess the effectiveness of improvement actions. In the work I do with manufacturing organizations, we are frequently using glidepath charts to help us monitor and forecast improvements related to defect PPM, QR rates and delivery performance. I coach my clients in building a set of actions with plans for implementation timing. Quality wasn't just the responsibility of the quality control department. We fostered a culture of quality ownership by: Encouraging line operators to report any quality concerns promptly. This early detection helped prevent defective products from reaching consumers. Providing regular training on quality procedures and identifying defects. This empowered employees to actively contribute to maintaining quality standards. Recognizing and rewarding teams and individuals who consistently delivered high-quality products. This motivated employees and reinforced the importance of quality.

Employee Engagement is the level of enthusiasm, commitment and involvement that employees demonstrate towards their work, organisation and its goals. The engagement shows continuous improvement, learning and commitment in the quality.

Ensure you have a Quality Function or team dedicated for quality in initial setup stage say 3-5 years of your organisation build up specially when its a case of mergers and acquisitions. Merging quality or calling it IMS with other functions is setting up for failure. I have worked in organisations which leverage emphasis on Quality and still have IMS too- these are best firms!

But if we see in depth, in every organisation that has a strong positive work culture and work ethics, all departments check for quality metrics at their respective stages of product development; from sourced items to in-process checks and pre-delivery final inspections. Quality and Safety are like the eyes and every employee when clearly aware of how they contribute to meeting the Quality goals, will achieve them.

Utilize QMS software or frameworks like Six Sigma, Lean, or ISO standards to organize, measure, and improve quality processes.
