When speaking to candidates about their internship experience, I am more impressed with how they articulate their experience and what they learned than I am with the experience itself. What did you learn from this internship? How did you contribute outside of your defined roles and responsibilities? What would you do differently if you could run it back? What are you looking for in a full time position that is similar to your experience at your internship? What are you looking for in a full time position that is different? If you were the CEO of the company, what would you do differently? What advice would you give to someone starting the internship tomorrow? Reflecting on, and articulating what you learned from the internship is critical.
