Various flavours of integrated AI solutions like copilot etc, also streamline this process for software developers, making it an essential tool that must be leveraged in Software Engineering. One area of adoption is also improving software code quality by plugging in AI into CI pipelines.

Microservice are NOT a silver bullet. For some use cases they are a perfect solution with all the described benefits, but there are cases where things like eventual consistency, lack of transaction are a huge challenge.

Avoid Unknown Unknowns: Microservices break down a system into smaller, manageable parts. However, don't use new technology on a new scope immediately. There are many unknowns in new technologies, which can lead to unforeseen problems. Instead, start with a Proof of Concept (PoC) using the new technology on an existing use case. This approach helps you understand its impact in a controlled environment. By doing this, you can identify potential issues and solve them early. Once confident, you can expand its use. This method ensures stability and success while gradually integrating new technology.
