Bootcamp cannot be expected to deliver what undergraduate education does. However, it can strengthen your skills in certain areas, improve persistence, build social connections, and showcase specialization. It is definitely worth your time, but do not expect a boot camp to take you from beginner to job-ready.

I started early so spend most of the time on internet, finding useful resources for learning/placement preparation. These bootcamps come with a nominal to high fee depending on duration of course. I completely agree with this. OOPS is very very important for any CS enthusiast/student/professional. Having clear understanding and usecase of GIT will help you grow vertically in your field. Keep a note of it.

Object-oriented design is great, but it has nothing to do with problem-solving. It is a good instrument for problem decomposition. But then you learn that persistence does not work that way, and you need to cope with transformations. Version control is cool, but you can learn on your own in a week to understand what most industries need. You know OOP when you understand visitor patterns and difference between method matching and dynamic binding, but this does not solve problems of enterprises where you deal with many architectural quality trade off on decentralized systems.

Curriculum Focus: Choose bootcamps with strong emphasis on design patterns. Practical Examples: Engage in exercises that implement patterns like Singleton, Observer, and Factory. Mentorship: Learn from instructors experienced in applying patterns in real-world scenarios.

I have lectured on design patterns in industry for 15 years. GoF is great, but this does not replace the GRASP pattern; SOLID DRY KISS and OOP are far from enough. Many patterns are in frameworks like Spring, and you do not need to know them to be a senior developer. You do not need GoF if you go for AI, ML, Data Science or CyberSec

Iterative Development: Use agile methodologies to incrementally build and refine projects. Portfolio Building: Create a portfolio of diverse projects demonstrating your design skills.

Scalability these days == cloud native ~ this is not a topic for boot camp but rather for senior undergrad or for grad school. Maintainability ~ more important than Design patterns is type safety.

Code review is important and so is using SonarCloud or similar static analysis tools. Automation is the key in the development process
