Okay when Engineering students are bombarded with engineering mathematics, some upto date dont appropriate why it is done, but is shaping them towards courses such as rock mechanics/ soil mechanics fluid mechanics which will give them ease of manipulating complex mathematically derived rock mechanics applications, to knowing physical and chemical properties of these rocks that engineers in various sectors of infrastructural development need for project requirements. Shear stresses/ strains, chemical composition and the response reaction of these rocks in the presence of other substances such as water, are critical to understanding the behavior of rocks, then a resultant solution is easy to get.
