Cultural differences should be taken into consideration when when giving feedback, especially while maintaining an assertive approach. Feedback is important to encourage correct and positive behavior within the team. It offers the chance to learn from other's perspectives and approach in doing this. Being open to positive feedback and accepting to views that may differ from one's own is important for the cycle of feedback to be successful. Providing feedback to a person who is not willing to take it with goodwill is counterproductive.
