In my experience, process workflows and SOP’s are the last things that are focused on in accounting. If you are delegating and there are issues, do you have the right documentation for the colleague to reference? Do you have resources for the colleague to find the answer? Although high tech tools can facilitate great results to manage a project, it will be only as effective and multiply the results of delegation as the base knowledge of your colleague being delegated to.
