Algo que me ha ayudado mucho a llegar a donde estoy es, precisamente, escuchar la retroalimentación, apostando a la mejora continua. Recuerdo que cuando comencé en ventas, dos personas del equipo gerencial me recomendaron hacer terapia de lenguaje para mejorar mi comunicación, y efectivamente la realicé. El cambio fue significativo y los resultados comenzaron a observarse en mi productividad. Y que al día de hoy agradezco, porque esos ejercicios los realizo antes de realizar una presentación y me han ayudado enormemente. A veces, pensamos que no la sabemos toda y la realidad es que si puedo hacerlo mejor, tomo esa opción y es lo que en mi experiencia me ha funcionado y lo comparto con uds.

One part of reflecting honestly on feedback is thinking through, "Is this someone who's feedback I value?" Sometimes you know that this person isn't your target, or you just know they don't read people well ??♀?. There's a lot of reasons why someone's feedback might not be worth taking. If it IS worth paying attention to, then yes, sit and think on how you can make adjustments to your brand or behavior to create a stronger brand in the future.

Escuche y anote. Luego, con calma, lo evalúas y buscas soluciones. Al principio, depende de la persona que lo diga y como lo diga, te puede sonar ofensivo y te pones a la defensiva o no te gusta. ?Me ha pasado? Sí, solo que ya al día de hoy lo manejo y sé cómo reaccionar, esta reacción me ha ayudado a sentarme, a revisar las posibles soluciones y trabajar en ello. Encontrar a la persona adecuada que me ayude a corregir dicha área a mejorar.

Una marca personal es coherente entre lo que dice y hace, así como también consistente. Es un trabajo que lleva tiempo ver los resultados, y a veces muchas marcas personales no tienen el tiempo para sí mismo. Insistir de forma inteligente, si la acción no funciona, tener la capacidad de respuesta para ajustar y con ello seguir insistiendo, no desistiendo. Para ello, hay que plantearse objetivos SMART, que puedan ser alcanzables y medibles. Si no, lo haces, lo que sucederá es que no sabes qué camino agarrar, ni que resultados esperar ni corregir. El que HACE, vende.

Construir una red de contactos te va a permitir ampliar tus conexiones, pero también, la forma en que tus contactos te dan feedback valioso para seguir mejorando en una marca personal poderosa y sólida. Si ajustas o corriges lo que te comentan, terminará sucediendo que afianzarás tu conexión, tu autoridad, tu confianza con tu red de contactos y con ello tus ventas. Interesante dato, para que esta red de contactos que vas construyendo y conectando, te den feedback, tienes que solicitarlo, de lo contrario, no te lo van a decir. Apóyate en encuestas de satisfacción, son relevantes para recabar información de áreas de mejoras en los productos o servicios que ofreces.
