Here's how you can juggle multiple deadlines in your career as a creator.

As a creator, it is extremely important to evaluate how urgent or significant a particular task is. And, then, accordingly prioritizing your activity for completing the same. At times, the client requires the project ahead of time and sometimes, we know that even if the work is submitted a little later, it won't cause any harm to anyone. Therefore, prioritize as per the client's demands. Secondly, consistency. Do little little work everyday. This ensures that the work is done steadily. Thirdly, timelines. Make sure that you have your own timelines with buffers. This allows you to deal with all that you have on your plate. It is important to spare some time for unforeseen circumstances without affecting the submissions.

One thing I have found helpful is project blocking. Rather than small burst of different projects in a single day, I opt for focused for in one project. This allows me to get more done and keep proper track of progress. It is imperative that one knows the exact time it takes to finish a project and hence projects for the delivery accordingly.

We should prioritise our tasks by understanding the hierarchy of our projects and their criticality. It's essential to determine the urgency and importance of each task. This doesn't mean neglecting less critical tasks, but scheduling them appropriately. Create a to-do list to manage your time effectively, ensuring that the most critical tasks receive the attention they deserve. This approach helps in making progress across all fronts. By prioritising correctly, we can ensure efficient task management and better overall productivity. This strategy is crucial for achieving our goals and maintaining a balanced?workload.

Organisation and preparation are key when creating content. If you have a good foundation of where everything is it makes it easy to execute tasks. Use a paper or a digital to-do list so you can get that dopamine rush when you complete a task. And these things do help you organise your day/week. Make use of them and don't rely only on your memory

Blocking your time is an effective way to prioritise your tasks. Allocate specific time slots for each task, ensuring you complete them as planned. By dividing your day into tasks, work periods, and breaks, you can manage your time efficiently. Include all activities in your schedule, not just work tasks but also breaks and other commitments. This approach helps you focus on high-priority tasks and enhances your time management skills. By following a structured schedule, you can maintain productivity and balance in your daily routine. Time blocking ensures that each task receives the attention it needs, leading to better overall?performance.

A big task can feel overwhelming and it might make your brain shut and enter procrastination. Use a list (digital or not) where you break down one task in sub-tasks and these subtasks into more minor and minor tasks. Once you finish each, you strikethrough and/or ear that thing of a completed task on your digital tracker and you will get a dopamine hit that will make you feel good and have energy for the rest of the tasks. Also reward yourself by taking breaks.

Use techniques that can help you stay focused for longer. Someone can say the Pomodoro technique, but what works for them might not work for you. For me, lo fi/concentration/ADHD playlists on YouTube and even video game soundtracks help me stay focused for longer and eliminate distractions. Use the setting on your phone to block some apps during focus times.
