Very soon we are going to have Arts Week in my school. A week where all subjects come together to bring more art into lessons. I find it amazing and I’m already thinking about all the nice art my students will produce during that week and that can be incorporated into my subject in a more long term basis. I teach geography, a subject that can use arts and crafts to help students to create a physical process, for example. And this activity of actively making something - using only recyclable objects, for example - it’s a great way to bring subjects together to enhance pupils’ experiences in school.

Creo que un error habitual es contemplar la creatividad como un fin en si mismo. Más bien debemos percibirla como algo implícito en la ense?anza que nos lleve a: - Fomentar la autonomía del alumnado a la hora de tomar las riendas de su propio aprendizaje. -Crear un clima de colaboración donde confluyan sinergias positivas. -Construir un espacio dinámico, estimulante y motivador que inspire al alumnado. No se trata solo de escribir historias, sinó de fomentar el pensamiento crítico y la resolución de problemas.
