Gamification in learning and development helps us to keep trainers to hooked to the training problem. It helps us to increase the completion rate which is one of the important metric for learning and development. On the other hand, it's proven to have better retention of the content or topics for the participants of training.

Role play scenarios are a great way to identify peoples strengths and weaknesses but is also a great ice-breaker among trainees if they are new to the company

Role playing exercises is one of the powerful tools to engage the audience in the training. When given such exercises, trainees put themselves into their shoes, think and then respond. It helps to develop empathy and they think in the dimensions when they never thought of.

Developing a dedicated creative space is a great initiative but there are certain constraints and challenges to it like 1. All the trainees should reach to that particular location as sometimes people across the countries taking training. 2. Space and Maintenance is also difficult.

I find creating fun activities for trainees to complete during training is a create way for them to bond and also learn, people often remember things better when completing an activity on it

Our brains learn faster and retain more when we engage all our senses. When possible design the learning environment to tap into as many as possible. For example, when training employees on a product for children, use crayon-colored tablecloths and scented flip chart markers, provide no-noise doodle toys for your tactile learners, and sprinkle some children's fonts and drawings into your presentations to make it immersive. Offer animal crackers in a Cookie Monster bowl at the break. It doesn't always have to be themed for your topic, just make sure you include elements they can see, touch, smell, taste, and hear.

Building in a plan for specific and timely feedback should be part of the initial design process for training. This helps maximize its usefulness. Be sure to include both objective and subjective measures. It’s critical to share and report back feedback to appropriate stakeholders and apply changes to your next training.
