Neither of these will help if my body language conveys an uninspiring message that demotivates the team members. When it comes to body language, it's not just about aligning it with our words. It amplifies our message by using specific gestures—hand movements, head nods, positive facial expressions, and eye contact. Simple actions like keeping our arms uncrossed, maintaining eye contact, and purposeful body movements can convey confidence, sincerity, and understanding, complementing a positive and productive environment.

Body language is a two-way street. When communicating you need to have positive body language, but you also need to understand your counterparts body language. A great communicator can learn a lot about how their message is being received by paying attention to the body language of the other person in the conversation. We often stress “active listening” when training individuals to be great communicators, but active interpretation of body language is just as important. You can often learn things through body language reactions that you would miss based on verbal feedback alone - no matter how strong your active listening skills.

Be crazily good at what you do! That is all! Nothing else. Forget all other drama. Nothing will empower your voice than the ones that actually proves their work.
