All of these skills are helpful with the mechanics os writing code. I believe, though, that most of the skills needed relate to the business and the customers. It is far too easy to build the wrong product very well. The best measure of your success as an engineer is the success of the product, or whatever mission you are working to fulfill. One can find satisfaction in doing great work that fails in the market, or that is cancelled before launch. But, by applying effort to work with the parts of the company that align the product with the market or mission, or if that is rejected into joining a better company, you can achieve real success. All skills are needed. Don't stop with coding.

All feedback can be helpful. Don't ignore the vital feedback from your customers. No feedback is more genuine than a customer paying their money to buy your product, or choosing to engage yoir service. Listen to the immediate feedback about your unique work, but listen harder to hear the feedback from the marketplace. This feedback can be silent, and even the silence is meaningful.

Peer feedback is a valuable tool for growth, providing insights you might miss on your own. Actively seek constructive criticism from colleagues who understand your work; if they frequently come to you for help, it shows they respect your expertise. Remember, feedback isn't just about praise—it’s a chance to see how others view your contributions.
