Most of our time during meetings is spent on preparing for our turn to speak. Make meetings more about listening to others and understanding their point of view. Acknowledge their statements before presenting your own. In team meetings, it is necessary that all members are present with an open mind. Often, giving someone the space to fully present their side makes it easier for us to understand their thought process and working style. It can also be a great way to avoid miscommunication and reduce conflicts.
