-Setting expectations in the feedback is very important because if that is not clarified then there is a chance that the direction gets changed compared to what it should be. -Such change in direction may lead to waste of resources and time as being applied in wrong direction. -As a result, it can take the team more far from the goal then they were instead of taking them towards the goal.

Feedback goes hand in hand with Change Management. Successful change management hinges on a continuous feedback loop. The key steps are: 1. We begin by gathering feedback to understand current processes and pinpoint areas for improvement. 2. Informed by the feedback, change management creates a strategic plan. This ensures the changes address the identified issues. 3. During implementation of changes, continuous feedback is crucial. It allows us to fine-tune the changes and ensure they remain aligned with the objective. 4. Once implemented, feedback helps assess the effectiveness of the changes. This feedback loop allows change management to adapt and refine the process for lasting improvement.

Keep the golden rule on feedback: give positive feedback in front of the team and provide negative feedback with closed doors on one to ones. Please also note that feedback can be detrimental to the situatuion. Avoid giving immediate feedback or feedback at all im these circumstances: (i) when the receiver is highly emotional or vulnerable after a difficult event (ii) when you do not have the time or the patience to give feedback and deliver the whole message you planned (iii) when you have not yet formulated az least one possible solution to help the receiver (iv) when you do not have all the information about an incident or (v) when the only feedback you could offer concerns factors that the recipient cannot change or control
