I would define balance as family, health, and work. I've set it up for myself like this - work 90% of the time, then distribute the rest among everything else. As you climb the ranks, you'll be networking and negotiating, you could say your busyness will be 40%, and you'll allocate the rest to family and health. But don't forget, parents won't live forever, so allocate your time considering this as well

Aprende a poner límites, si haces bien tu trabajo y sientes esa presión por dar más y recibir menos, o que te llaman de noche o fines de semana, ese no es tu lugar. I'll tell you the single truth I've come to realize. You need to create a strategy for where you're headed and how. It's necessary to plan everything so that in your youth you work a lot, even if for little money, and by 30-35 you've already taken an important position. Important! I'm not talking about sitting in one place working for pennies, but rather planning and acquiring key skills needed to achieve your goal.

Maintaining the work life balance in the corporate world is quite difficult these days. The excessive work pressure, deadly timeliness to do work. Ensuring the accuracy in such deadly timeliness, these all makes us to spend more of our life in ensuring compliance of all these things and then we don't enough time for our personal loved things. Maintaining work life balance is actually necessary even for the organisation growth also ad it will help in maintaining employee mental, physical health and if an employee is satisfied then this will ultimately help in organisation growth.

Work-life balance is a constant and intentional effort to keep priorities aligned with your values. In finance, with tighter deadlines around month end this can get a bit more difficult but as long as you prioritize according to your values and use all resources available to you it's a doable task. I am personally more a fan of work life integration since I understand that some weeks work will demand more while some weeks my personal life will be a priority.

As a corporate finance professional, I do believe in work life balance, and ensure that my whole team and myself are benefits from this equation. Life here are more stressful and having lots of challenges in terms of deadlines, compliance (local and group) level, on ther hand corporate finance gives you great exposure to lots of areas and expirtes. Generally, being very well organized as well as following a check list, can help you plan well for yourself and your team tasks and will give you clear view about your utilization.

After suffering a lack of work-life balance for nearly two decades working at large, bustling corporations, I realized that I would never be able to create the work-life balance I personally desired in corporate America.
