While working in a group & during deliberation- you, even after having a complete clarity about a topic/ process or possible outcome, must engage others to create sensitivity by asking obvious questions. Own understanding not necessarily to be presumed to be clarity of all group members. Asking such questions opens up members and the linkage of several factors are open to all; the absence of such questions make a compartment-like team

Team even with a homogenous agenda and background will have individuals with different belief system. The intellect level and varied cultural exposure with different experience level makes team complete. This means we are increasing spectrum of thinking and analyzing. Having newer or an apprentice member will have excellent effect; a fresh generation without having any inclination and notion may come out with most obvious but most relevant options.

Risk is nothing but exploring untested arena. Innovation is result of the same. Unless team do not enter unknown risky area to think, analyze- outcomes will always be predictive. A project targetted to bring change and disruption muct encourage risky and disruptive innovation

Giving feedback is one of the most important things a facilitator can do. Otherwise, how would people know if they are in the right direction?

Make sure that all team members share the same judgment about what worked well and what did not work fully well. In the latter case there may be a significant improvement lurking - after all, that's the point of continuous improvement. And don't forget that an important component of reflection group activity is the celebration of successful problem-solving ideas.
