How successful you are depends on how close you are to where you wanna be. And to know where you wanna be, you need to define your goals. Many different goals can be achieved through social media. You need to choose one based on what suits your brand the most....

Defining goals is the keystone, especially when addressing the social impact; humans always like to know the results and feel that the achieved point will meet their needs. We should also know that what is required in one location might not be needed in another, For example, in our area - the Middle East - especially the Gulf zone, the weather is scorching, and many activities can not be done outdoors. This is a challenge, and sustainability experts must think outside the box to find a solution. That is why we can find (For example) that one of the critical requirements within our local rating system - MOSTADAM - is outdoor thermal comfort, which encourages the developers to provide shaded outdoor spaces for the building users.

Social studies must also consider the surrounding environment, development impact, society's habits, etc. This needs to be addressed in metrics, tested under try and error, and continually developed.
