La comunicación es el elemento principal en todo proceso, esta se puede ver obstaculizada por lo diferentes canales en los que se presente, si bien es cierto que deben de establecerse canales para que la información que se reciba pueda ser anónima, también es cierto que la mejor comunicación es la que es directa y asertiva, que permite una retroalimentación entre los participantes, esto con el fin de establecer acuerdos. Si en un momento determinado existe un conflicto entre los participantes es necesaria la participación de un mediador para llegar a acuerdos que permitan mejorar los procesos.

Es necesario que se capacite al personal sobre como brindar y recibir la retroalimentación. En algunos casos este proceso puede tomarse como una cuestión personal y no laboral, lo que puede influir de manera negativa en el ambiente laboral, por ello deben de aplicarse diferentes estrategias que permitan a los colaboradores brindar las críticas de una manera constructiva y respetuosa que mejore los procesos. Una estrategia puede ser el juego de roles, para hacer un cambio en los papeles que juegan los actores y de esta manera la crítica que se realice tenga fundamentos sólidos.

Para que exista una buena colaboración el ambiente laboral es fundamental por ello la colaboración es fundamental, debe buscarse que tanto el personal administrativo como docente se sientan identificados con su centro de trabajo, para que, de esta manera, busquen diferentes formas o estrategias para mejorar los procesos en los que debe de priorizar el trabajo en equipo. Las instituciones más productivas son aquellas en las que se fomenta la colaboración entre los integrantes de la misma
