When I think of diverse assessors, I think about regional and national committees, task forces, and working groups. More specifically, highlighting awards and recognition committees. In our roles, we involve individuals from senior leadership down to graduate students - from all institutions in our association. As a committee, we receive nominations whose names have been removed (especially since we as the committee or judges may know the nominee) and judge based solely on criteria. Is what is listed in the nomination followed and given examples of what is listed in the criteria of the award? If so, then awesome; that person scores well and gets great marks. We also keep the feedback anonymous for anonymity.
