System Design by nature is ambiguous. Thus it's imperative that Product Managers, DEV managers, Architects should work together and create a well defined Functional, Non functional Requirements. These GOALS(stories)must be broken down into SMALLER tasks with precise ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA, TIMELINES. This helps the TEAM to have clarity, communicates sense of purpose and gives greater confidence in company vision.

One time at work, I was involved in a project where we lacked clear goals, and it led to a lot of confusion and wasted effort. From that experience, I learned the importance of setting specific, measurable objectives right from the start. In my experience, the most effective projects are those where everyone knows exactly what they are working towards. Clear, well-communicated goals make a huge difference. One thing I’ve found helpful is using project management tools to document and track our goals. This way, everyone on the team has access to the same information and can refer back to it whenever needed.

I agree and I will add that it’s very helpful to align all the team on the reason of why we are going to do the effort, why it’s needed? What uniqueness it will bring. By bringing the team to be aligned with the motivation at heart & core of the program/project/company it will make tremendous effect on everyone to be part of the success. You need from time to time remind them and make sure they are aligned and holding the core ideas. This is one main take away I’ll add to this from my experience
