There's an ego in the business world that keeps us from looking to others to take an idea to a complete thought/project/initiative. We feel the need to be the expert and be seen as the leader through every step of the development process. We can take a lesson from the entertainment industry: when an episode of a TV show is pitched, a whole team of writers and producers help take the idea to a completed product. Single egos are removed for the betterment of the final product, and all benefit from the shared effort.
