It is a must because giving a clear understanding of bug visuals can play a very important role, it will enhance the understanding between the dev and the test team. One thing I’ve found helpful is having a constant engagement with the developers. At my company the tester and the developer collaborate to find the root cause and solution when a bug is discovered. Testers collaboration and communication with developers helps everyone to see from other perspectives and better report issues. At times some issues you want to raise are not actually a bug, it might be that it’s not been tested the right way and you can easily find that out by collaborating.

To resolve the bug we need to have very good collaboration between dev, testing, and the business team. This trio will complete the circle of process and will enhance the result-oriented process. The collaboration will reduce the time engagement for analyzing the issue and will drive toward the solution. It will help to resolve the bugs on a priority basis and everyone will be aligned to the process. Collaboration is a good indicator of a strong and result-oriented team

But you have to be mindful to not take up too much of other's time, or the velocity of the team goes down significantly due to context switching. Help is important, but know when to try yourself first. A quick conversation during lunch can help a lot too, just for your head to get all the information in order

Clearly document any changes in the bug status (e.g., from "Open" to "In Progress" to "Resolved") with dates and relevant details. 3. Provide context for any changes or decisions made regarding the bug. 4. When a fix is implemented, document how the fix was tested and verified. 5. If new information comes to light, revise previous updates to reflect the most accurate and current status of the bug.

I agree with the fact that a tester’s job is beyond just reporting a bug. A tester is also responsible for following up, giving update and ensuring that it’s fixed as expected. When you experience a bug, follow this steps; - Document the bug (I added a comment on how to report bug in the first section) - Assign the bug to the developer - Follow up with the developer until the bug is fixed - Retest the bug and verify that the fix works as expected
