I barely experience space encroachment since I mostly work in remote settings. But being a person who is very protective of his personal space, I believe giving others their personal space and not encroaching is also very important. There was a coworking space I used to visit often. As soon as the managers chose profit over the comfort of the existing clients and packed the place full, I stopped going altogether. I work mostly from my desk now because I really value space.
