I've been talking a lot to the Heads of HR. A lot of them share that sourcing and screening candidates takes them 85%+ time, leaving typically less than 5% of the time for genuine communication with candidates as there are also meetings and bureaucratic tasks. Simultaneously, most recruiters share that their favorite part of recruitment is working with people. Thus, to engage in emotional intelligence, first, it's necessary to allow recruiters to have more time to engage with candidates. One of the main ways -- use AI to automate screening and sourcing.
