Algo que me parece FUNDAMENTAL a la hora de comunicar nuestros esfuerzos de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa, es partir del punto en que sabemos que todas las personas que trabajan en la empresa están ocupadas, apenas pueden con su propia vida, y SABEMOS que esto les demandará un tiempo que tendrán que sacar de algún lado más. Entonces, antes de empezar a planear una estrategia de CSR yo me aseguraría: ?Tengo el apoyo de los líderes de área de aquellos equipos a los que voy a convocar? ?Tengo algún lineamiento en la política de la empresa que fomente la CSR de manera que mis esfuerzos sean fundados? No es lo mismo tener apoyo en las prioridades de la empresa que no tenerlo. ?Está mi iniciativa bien situada en tiempo y espacio?

Una vez que hayas abordado esas preguntas iniciales y sabes que cuentas con apoyo de los líderes de equipo cuyos miembros serán afectados por la estrategia de CSR, las políticas de la empresa, y que el tiempo y el espacio de la iniciativa juegan lo más posible a tu favor, sería muy importante que puedas hacer una convocatoria general a "pensar" la estrategia de CSR y buscar temáticas con la que los posibles colaboradores empaticen. He comprobado en todos estos a?os trabajando con empresas que las campa?as existosas son aquellas que interpelan, que tocan la fibra sensible de alguien, que los conecta con algo que viven a diario. Por ejemplo, si hay personas que tienen en su familia miembros con discapacidad, puede ser una temática convocante.

Algo esencial en la claridad del mensaje, para mi, es partir del lugar correcto. Hoy en día, en Argentina al menos, la mayor parte de las personas siente que "está perdiendo" o "la está pasando mal". No sirve pedirle que ayuden "a los que la están pasando horrible". No hay que generar culpa sino consciencia. Hay que intentar generar empatía y no lástima hacia quienes recibirán el apoyo de la empresa. A la vez, es imprescindible la escucha atenta con la organización o receptor de nuestras acciones de CSR. Tenemos que hacer nuestro mayor esfuerzo por darles lo que necesitan, y no lo que nos sobran. Perdonenmé la cita poco académica, pero bien lo dijo Alejandro Sanza "Dar solamente aquello que te sobre/nunca fue compartir/ sino dar limosna".

Creo que la buena persuasión parte de la sinceridad. Si lográs conectar con el apoyo genuino que una acción de CSR tendrá en el público que la reciba, podés sumar apoyos contándolo a través de una historia. En cambio de datos duros y fríos, pedirle a quien referencie el lugar donde impactará la campa?a o iniciativa de CSR que te transmita qué beneficios tendrá vuestra colaboración en la vida de una persona concreta. Con nombre, apellido, edad, gustos, algún detalle significativo. Conectar con una persona es más fácil que conectar con un porcentaje, te lo aseguro.

Muchas personas no tienen demasiado tiempo para involucrarse en propuestas presenciales, y creen que la asistencia virtual tiene menos valor. Es importante hacerles saber que no: Si se encuentran buenas conexiones, es mucho más útil un colaborador comprometido virtualmente que un colaborador que empiece un voluntariado o acción de CSR y luego no pueda continuarla por falta de tiempo. Proponer alternativas virtuales suma mucho a toda propuesta de CSR!

Use data analytics tools to track the reach and engagement of your CSR communication efforts. This data can help you measure the effectiveness of your strategies and refine your approach over time.

Before communicating, take time to understand your audience's point of view. What are their priorities and expectations regarding social responsibility? Actively listen to stakeholder feedback during conversations, meetings, or surveys. Pay attention to both verbal and nonverbal cues to gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts and feelings. Mastering Storytelling is an art in making an impact. this could be taken to a secondary level by using images. The link between a successful CSR story is the connectivity of action packed image and a powerful writeup. Many of us make a 3rd party cover the photographs on behalf of us. This is good, if the photographs depict the exact story that needs to be conveyed. So make sure to communicate your need to the other party that will be doing the job on behalf of you. Imagine you doing a beach cleaning with the staff volunteers and you don't have the before pictures of a beach with debris. This might not show the end results achievement as much as one will anticipate. So make sure to forecast what you want to give out prior commencement.
