We have to break the "easy" prejudice about social media. Many times, I am confronted, in my line of work, with a client that still lives under the believe that "you just get there, write and publish something, now, that I am asking". All the industry leaders like Adobe and Canva are constantly updating their software, to the point that getting dynamic and engaging content made is a much faster and more efficient process. There is a wealth of tutorials out there, from quick videos too full courses (LinkedIn Learning for sure being the best for up to date resources). Taking time to get up to speed with these can significantly improve your skills and versatility.

It is important to site-specific situations in your work experience where there is a specific challenge. If you can emphasize the action you took to overcome that challenge it helps them notice your thought process and work ethic. This will give your interviewer and idea about how can grow with them or not.

Problem solving comes in all forms, and it's quickly becoming the most sought-after skill in employees. It's important to remember problem solving comes in all forms: overcoming lack of equipment, lost footage, a story angle change mid-shoot, a nervous subject in a video. Consider all mishaps that you overcame as a potential example. Being able to demonstrate how you had to make a change quickly as well as work around a more permanent issue shows your ability to adapt.

Getting the most content out of events, ideas and shoots is important. Demonstrating how a single event can play out on multiple platforms in a variety of forms (short video, long form video, graphic, photo) demonstrates your creativity and ability to adjust to the platform's strengths and the audience who uses that platform.
