These tips are quite helpful and spot on. Getting feedbacks from bosses & superiors based off my experience haven't been challenging and I guess it's because I've got pretty approachable bosses who have an open door policy and most importantly I quite likeable. Now, the word "likeable" might come off as meek but it will amaze you how useful it can be. Here are three things that I believe can make one likeable: 1) Level of dedication to work & how diligent you are to work. To be frank, what boss dislikes an employee who delivers on their job? 2) A great personality & willingness to learn. 3) Great communication skill & this involves understanding non verbal communication.

It is important to look at feedback as a gift! When I was a younger and less mature individual, I was always extremely defensive about feedback, it always felt like criticism to me. It wasn’t until about five years into my professional career, when being given some key advice from a boss that it clicked- he isn’t disrespecting me, he is showing me a better way to do my job! This revelation was a game changer to me. Being thin skinned was really affecting my growth- my attitude and ability really took off after that insight. If a person who is more experienced than you takes the time to point out something that you could improve upon, don’t view that as anything other than gold!
