Continuous evaluation must be built into our EdTech platforms. Leadership of this evaluation must be shared by all stakeholders, not led from a technology-led approach. Having a great bespoke platform is great, but not being able to use this to shape cultures for student success means reduced impact for all: EdTech leads, teaching colleagues, colleagues in professional services, student support, wellbeing and diversity teams (etc). We need to all be reflexive and imaginative in the way we think about evaluation.

There should be a way to gather feedback without having users type or send information to developers. Truth is most teachers are too busy or cannot bother to take the time to send detailed feedback on a platform that is not performing according to the expectations. Maybe a once-in-a-while type of meeting, either online or face to face, in order to ask for feedback, or a less direct method to gather information through the platform usage (e.g. keeping track of how many times a certain feature is used, among other things).
