One should start by prioritizing tasks using the Eisenhower Matrix, which helps you categorize tasks based on their urgency and importance. Focus should be on high-impact tasks that align with strategic goals. Other frameworks that serve the same purpose include the MoSCoW Method (Must have, Should have, Could have, Won’t have) to prioritize product features and enhancements, ensuring that critical tasks are addressed first. To prioritize features one can also user RICE framework or the Kano Model. These will also give idea about what features are how important and what needs to be tackled first.

As someone from a data driven product industry; i think meeting deadlines isn’t our last thing to check but our first thing to analysis. If you plan & plot things by forecasting time, effort, team involvement, buffer period, testing, bugs correction in the initial planning phase your entire plot could go hand in hand with timeline. I think majority people doesn’t include buffer period and correcting phase which might end up increasing their timelines. It is critical to understand that to make a perfect timeline we should include the phase for thinking on mistakes which may happen that will make your process mistake-proof along with timeline aligned.

Simply, I use Eisenhower Matrix and/or MoSCoW method to Prioritize my daily and weekly tasks effectively. I Do first the Important AND urgent stuff. " Must-Do " Schedule later the Important BUT not urgent tasks. "Should-Do" Delegate the Urgent BUT not important tasks. " Could-Do possibility" Ditch the Not urgent AND not important tasks. " Won't-Do"
