Starting a career in IT, you'll always be expected to put in more hours and effort into your work. So, work-life balance is difficult to come by, But more often than not, the hours are long and unpredictable, especially if you're dealing with overseas clients. While setting boundaries is healthy, you might fall behind in the competition at the very start. As unfair as it might seem, you can do a few things to help alleviate your stress: - take coffee/chai breaks to wind down - take weekly lunches outside with coworkers that you can enjoy your time with - phone another IT friend so you can both complain about your lack of work life balance - make use of any extra activities your office campus has to offer (gym/ pool table/ etc)
