Ask if there are opportunities to shadow client meetings or participate in client-facing projects. Research Industry Trends: Take the initiative to research your company's industry and current client relations best practices. Embrace Learning: Ask questions, be receptive to feedback, and actively seek out learning opportunities related to communication

When seeking a return offer or a glowing recommendation from an internship employer, making yourself out to be the go-to person for all things problem solving is the surefire way to achieve that. In my personal experience, I solved a fair-sized problem on a project and that action was enough for my employer to extend my internship to a year and a half on top of giving me a return offer for a similar role as my internship.
