You really have to see what you want. Some of my classmates went to Google and Natural Language Processing. I needed other things. I went to China to live for 11 years, to work and live and apply myself and all I learned in studies, to continually refine myself. Yes, I taught English, or more importantly, experienced what teaching as an illiterate foreigner in a new learning culture. There are many ways to extend your linguistic education, and I would like to encourage you to think outside the box, and be courageous. I think I metaphorically earned a PhD in China. Choose an American TV talk show where casual and interesting interviews are happening rather than a news show with difficult vocabulary. Find a free English Language Podcast which offers you to listen to easy conversations.

Nowadays , resources are available everywhere especially after the great invention of the internet. In addition to my linguistic skills in English, I could earn another linguistic skills in Spanish. Thanks wholeheartedly to the Duolingo application.

I find for my students that focusing on 1 language skill at a time is easier for each one hour language lesson, such as: pronunciation improvement or building vocabulary words in a sentence. This way, you can work on 1 main segment of the language at a time until you are comfortable to try the next thing, like understanding idioms and slang which is so important for everyday casual conversation.

Due to our hectic life, we need to set specific plan study to develop linguistic skills everyday. We can study any subject or develop any skill by the internet at our space.

I agree with this and if possible see if you can find just one person who you can ask to practice your English language speaking with on a weekly basis for 30-60 minutes a week even if it has to be on a FaceTime or a Skype call.
