While preaching is easy, practicing is difficult since there is a constant mental pull and push between prioritizing between big-picture wants vs. short-term needs; and more so, switching between these two states is often a challenge, but possible by thinking/acting strategically.

This is my go-to strategy to grow even when the market is down. You have got to keep moving forward. Improve 1% everyday and don't aim for perfection, aim for progress. Believe it or not, there are many others facing the same issue as yours, but in the end, the results matter. You have got to come out of the hole and start working consistently. Be an unstoppable train whether it's a recession or what not. Take action because sitting and thinking about how? Why? Where? Won't help. You've got to take action.The only thing standing between you and success is taking action. If it were easy, everyone would have done it right? If you're struggling in your career,just know that great things won't come to your doorstep.You're got to fight for it.

A veces lo que impide lograr una meta es la duda, ?será la correcta? ?funcionará? ?tendré éxito?, etc, etc, etc... Sea cual sea la meta que elegiste, recuerda por qué la elegiste, ve tras ella. ?Se vale cambiar? Claro que yes, jaja pero recuerda, sólo se lograr alcanzar un objetivo siendo constante en él, todo requiere esfuerzo y constancia, pero la recompensa siempre es valiosa.

In my perspective balance is very important in our line of duty because it tends to consume you. Try to maintain regular non work related activities that you do on a schedule outside of work boundaries to maintain work-life balance and keep yourself happy !
