This includes investing in the latest technology, providing opportunities for continuous learning, and supporting innovative projects even if they carry some risk.Encouraging collaboration across different departments and functions can lead to a cross-pollination of ideas. I promote a collaborative culture where teamwork and collective problem-solving are the norms.

Failure and success are on the same road, success is just further down. Regardless of what failures feel like, never let the fear or frustration from it hinder your progress to reach success.

I’ve learned more during my times of failing in business than my times of success. Failure teaches both enhanced and increased skill as well as humility. It also teaches perseverance, determination, and sticktoitiveness. I’ve now learned to challenge our teams to not just practice until they get it right but more-so to practice until they can’t get it wrong. Failure will often make an indelible mark upon the minds of your team members which will remind them that they don’t ever desire to experience it again. In closing, I’d say failure is an indispensable tool in the toolkit and lifecycle of a learner.

Diversity in team dynamics can be a key to innovation and creativity. Having team members with different backgrounds, experience and skill levels can greatly enhance the success of your team’s effectiveness. I will add that also ensuring that your organization’s vision, mission, and core values as well as their goals individual job assignment’s departmental mission must be crystal clear as you navigate your strategic plan. I believe that while diversity is a key to success it’s also a double edged sword wherein, without clarity, laser focus and guidance you may find yourself more frustrated than productive.

The more you learn, the more potential you have to earn. Degrees, certifications, and licenses are like keys - they give you access to opportunities you didn’t have before. So then, get the learning done and persevere to reach the people and places you’re destined to be a part of.

Continuous learning is a key ingredient for organizational success. Studies have shown that when organizations continually invest in the empowerment of their team members that they continually grow as an organization. Studies likewise show that when you discontinue learning programs that organizations begin to atrophy. Technology and society are continually growing and if we are not continually investing in the education of those on our teams our organization will go from a movement to a monument.

Open and Respectful Communication along with Active Listening. Both feed off each other. When we listen, we can truly understand others' perspectives and their unique ideas. And when the communication is respectful, we can disagree with the idea without dissing the person. These two strategies help in creating a culture where people are unafraid to air their ideas, can brainstorm solutions, and collaborate on new initiatives.

Deals aren’t done through closed doors and walls. I get it, many of us are guarded and leary of new faces often because of past experiences. However, choosing to believe in the best of people and potentialities of what can be accomplished is part of the recipe that makes dreams come true > but only through open minds and open hearts where communication flows freely.
