I learned a lot about comfort zones when I gave myself a 30-day challenge of "do something every day that scares you". The results were surprising. I started with a list of 30 things that I was afraid to do. Just looking at the list was terrifying. But, as time went by these items on my list didn't seem like such a big deal. My comfort zone was expanding as fast as I could take on the challenges. As known by everyone, starting is the hardest part. If the challenge is too great to start, break it down into manageable pieces that are on the edge of your comfort zone and go from there.
