Is it really impostor syndrome if the space you inhabit was not created with the assumption of your presence, your belonging, or your humanity? How would our experiences of our workplaces change if they operated as though they believed no one is disposable?

This foundation of your values provides you direction for creating your vision and the plans to achieve your vision. As a philanthropy professional, it is important to do this yourself so that you can guide those you are serving in a similar process.

Your goals should be SMART -- specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time focused. Reflecting on your goals with these acronym elements will help you define more robust goals which you are able to benchmark. This exercise also helps you prioritize your goals.

Engage financial services, estate planning and nonprofit professionals to understand the trends and how we can maximize philanthropic outcomes.
