Evaluation is many times utilized as a controlling mechanism for teachers when the budget is small. All the above 5 points is what I have followed and implemented and worked well in my sphere of influence, where I find most leaders and teachers challenged in the implementation of the action plan ... the follow up is slow and sluggish and sometimes missing . That is where I am now working on "feed forward " instead ...a lot of emphasis on how to put our ideas, goals into action , how to ensure that students get impacted in the right fashion and how to measure that impact .Look keenly for evidence of the same. I have been training in that area and realized there is little or no clarity amongst many . So I think mentoring and coaching can be part of the action plan to enable people set and achieve their professional goals.
