MSE is also called as L1 norm while MAE is called as L2 norm. On the other hand for classification tasks, we find out Precion and Recall scores. Precision score represents accuracy of true predictions. Recall score represents the model's capability of detecting true labels. F1 score is Harmonic mean of precision and recall scores. Generally a high precision and recall scores are preferred, but according to the need we may require a high precision but low recall score and vice versa.
