You will get your turn - maybe not the first time you meet, maybe it’s the second or third or fourth time. Be nice , be friendly and reduce your chances of rejection.

What I have found in the networking space is that you can't please everyone. The key is keeping in mind, this person is not for me, which is fine, and you move on. The key is to focus on the great relationships you build and the connections you make. Failure is part of learning, if there was no failure there is no learning. If you fail faster and learn faster, you'll end up building better networks. Also you must always come from a space of giving first. Saying that, you must be very strategic as to how you spend you time and with whom.

But this will help you to start becoming more assertive, alert, in tune with your own self, feelings and emotions. Dise?ar estrategias efectivas nunca es fácil, y aún más en la actualidad, cuando las personas reciben constantemente propuestas y ofertas de servicios. Mi recomendación para pedir retroalimentación es hacerlo de la misma manera en que te gustaría recibirla. Sé claro, conciso y específico sobre lo que quieres saber. Ah, y no olvides que para dar hay que recibir, así que cuando te pidan una retroalimentación, no dudes en darla de forma honesta y constructiva.

Cuando enfrentamos rechazo durante el “business networking”, puede que sintamos un poco de frustración. No obstante, para crear resiliencia, no me tomo el rechazo de manera personal y trato de ver que puedo aprender de ese rechazo como preguntarme qué pude haber hecho mal al tratar de contactarme.
