Nowadays it's all about stories, not about products and solutions. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing but at least that's the trend. I am a big fan of visuals, that's how I remember things. I believe I am not the only one. This is why it's very important to differentiate visually when creating a visual identity for a company/brand. My nephew is 3 and can already recognize hundreds of logos from different brands. Why? Because they're powerful and stick into your brain easily. And of course, they have powerful brand messages behind (he doesn't know about that yet :p haha)!
